Watercolor Pour Weekend Workshop March 2025 with Renee Wrenwood

Saturday, March 29, 10 am-4 pm

Sunday, March 30, 1pm-4:00 pm

$150 (+  $10 supply fee due at class, payable to teacher)

Immerse yourself in the joys of watercolor pouring and learn to create watercolor paintings by actually pouring and squirting paint!

We’ll use the primary colors, allowing them to mingle on the paper, creating gorgeous color blends! We’ll control this juicy, delicious color feast using masking fluid to delineate the whites, lights, and shapes.

Friday evening we’ll draw (or trace) our design, and begin our masking application.

Saturday we‘ll really get into the pouring process: mask, pour, blend, repeat! 

Sunday will be the last chance for final pouring. We will remove the mask for the great 

  reveal! Add any desired details with a paintbrush to finish your stunning 

  watercolor painting.

The supply fee covers all supplies we’ll use. Bring a photo that you’ll want to turn into a painting  - or use my traceable reference photos.

Bring a lunch or snacks for Saturday, or order from a local restaurant

Our class will meet at the LAST Gallery classroom at 105 W. Louisiana St., just off the square. Feel free to take a few minutes to wander the gallery and view the artists at work in their studios!
