Linda Herbert…

Since her childhood years, greatly inspired by her artist mother, Linda has loved putting her creative impressions on canvas. She is passionate about revealing God’s beautiful creation and all of its spender - through the colorful strokes of her brush. Receiving her BFA from West Texas State University, taking lessons from great artist such as Dalhart Winberg and Kevin Macpherson, Linda has sought to grow and perfect her talent. Growing up around West Texas cotton fields, where her father spent his life in the ginning business, she has a great appreciation for the vast countryside and beautiful sunsets. She has experience painting in many different settings, from wall murals in businesses and homes to plein air – her canvases are many. Linda has been successful over the past many years having her paintings accepted in juried art shows like Unique By Nature – McKinney, along with many other open shows throughout Texas and New Mexico. Linda wants to inspire others to have hope and joy that she personally has experienced through her faith journey. She currently has her art displayed for sale in several galleries in McKinney.

Linda lives and continues to peruse her artistic love in McKinney, Texas. She is married and has 3 grown children and one grandchild..
